Solar Cell Application

Solar Cell Application is 25 percent more efficient at harnessing the sun’s energy than traditional cells. Ted Sargent, professor of electrical engineering at the University of Toronto, revealed his new solar cell in the current issue of Nature Materials.

Solar Cell Application is more efficient and practical in application than traditional solar cells. Traditional solar cells are big bulky panels only feasible for large applications with big budgets. The new solar cell is constructed from flexible plastic material, opening up a new diversity of potential applications for solar energy. For example, these solar cells have the capability to be sewn into fabric, turning clothes into a powerful energy-generating device.

Terry White, President of the Solar Energy Society of Canada, said solar cells like these could completely transform the industry. “If they make solar cells less expensive, and the potential applications more varied, then it’s a major breakthrough” he said.

According to Sargent, this new technology could be available consumers within five to ten years. He is currently looking for inventors who could turn the invention into a commercially viable product. He has already caught the eye of Lux Capital, a venture capitalist firm based out of Manhattan.

The solar street light is to converse the nature energy of sun light into electric power by the force of solar panel to refresh for storage battery. When the environment gets dark, the battery provide the electric power to the Solar Street Light automatically. Electric light point brightly empress, was computed by timer time, pass by after the enactment’s time, electricity move.

As one of the provider of solar cell and solar modules,  Risen  Solar Lights has established 90MW solar cell production lines with monocrystalline and polycrystalline cell.
